BTS Asok / MRT Sukhumvit interchange · Sukhumvit Soi 16, 19, 21, 23
Asok
Commercial-residential transition
Asok is the corridor's commercial face. It is the only station on the corridor with both BTS and MRT (Asok BTS interchanges with Sukhumvit MRT), and that dual-line connectivity makes it one of the most transit-redundant addresses in Bangkok. The station sits at a Grade-A office cluster (Interchange 21, Exchange Tower, GMM Grammy Headquarters, Sermmit Tower), which means weekday density is high and weekend pace drops noticeably. Bumrungrad International Hospital, on Sukhumvit Soi 1, is the area's primary medical anchor and one of the most internationally recognised hospitals in Southeast Asia. Terminal 21, the world-cities-themed mall directly connected to the station via skywalk, anchors the daily retail experience.

Asok's residential character lives on the side sois. InterContinental Residences Asoke, the corridor's most significant new branded residence (88 units, freehold, launched February 2026), sits on Sukhumvit Soi 16. Other Sukhumvit Soi 16 inventory includes Celes Asoke, Fynn Asoke, and several older premium buildings. The Sukhumvit Soi 21 / Asok Montri stretch is denser and more commercial. Benjakitti Park sits south of the station, and the elevated pedestrian skywalk to Lumphini Park crosses the expressway from there, making it possible to walk between the two corridors entirely on foot.
