What Clinique La Prairie is

A medical clinic first and a resort second. It began in Clarens-Montreux with Dr Paul Niehans and the cellular therapy he pioneered, and its best known stay is still the one-week Revitalisation in Switzerland. Today it runs health resorts in Montreux and in Anji, China, with Phuket next, and every programme is built on the same four pillars.

Pillar 1

Medical

Diagnostics and programmes built on your own results: longevity, regeneration, weight, the brain.

Pillar 2

Nutrition

Meals as part of the treatment, with an organic farm on the estate.

Pillar 3

Movement

A 50 m pool, trainers, hot and cold therapies, kayaks on the lake.

Pillar 4

Wellbeing

Yoga, meditation and breathing in the Manorah Grand Hall over the water.

Where it is: Tri Vananda

Tri Vananda is 600 rai of forest and lakes at Thep Krasattri, about 15 minutes from the airport, developed by Montara Hospitality Group, the family company that built Trisara. Only about 15 per cent of the land will be built on. The clinic’s resort sits at the centre; the private villas stand on their own plots around the lakes.

What an owner gets, and what is separate

  • Included, per the developer (September 2026): access to the wet-area facilities at the clinic’s health resort, and to the pool and beach at Trisara, the sister resort on the coast.
  • On the estate: a community house with JAMPA, a Michelin Green Star restaurant, a common pool, a Technogym studio, a kids’ club, a farm and the lakes.
  • Separate: the clinic’s medical programmes are its own and are booked with it. The villas are Tri Vananda’s; they are not Clinique La Prairie residences and do not carry its name.

The 7 villas on the list

The clinic’s history, and what a programme costs

Dr Paul Niehans opened the clinic in 1931 and developed cellular therapy there; he was appointed to the Pontifical Academy of Sciences in 1955. The clinic lists eight programmes today, from Revitalisation and Master Detox to Brain Potential and Healthy Weight. Its Revitalisation week is offered in Montreux only and starts from CHF 31,800 on its own website (September 2026). Prices for Phuket have not been published. Beyond Phuket, the clinic lists a health resort opening at AMAALA in Saudi Arabia in 2027 and longevity hubs in cities from Madrid to Dubai.

Buying at Tri Vananda: lease, payment and the 1 November price change

Every villa is sold on a registered lease of the land; the term and renewal are not in any developer document we hold, and listings that say 30 + 30 + 30 years describe thirty registered years plus promises, not ninety. The developer’s payment plan for an off-plan villa is a 2 per cent deposit, 28 per cent at the sale agreement, 20 per cent at the construction permit, at the substructure and at the roof, and 10 per cent at completion. The developer says prices change on 1 November 2026. General information as of September 2026, not legal advice.

Every villa, with plans and pictures, is on the Tri Vananda project page.
