Bang Pho is the northern end of the Chao Phraya's re-rating: SI NEXT, the Siriraj International Medical Institute, a 19-storey, 442-bed hospital with a cabinet-approved THB 16.96 billion budget, is planned on the 13 rai next door, and the Purple Line's southern extension from Tao Poon, one Blue Line stop away, is planned to open in 2029 or 2030 on the latest reported schedule.
