What is Millionaire's Mile?
The local name for the stretch of hillside above Kamala bay where Phuket's large private villas concentrated as the ultra-prime market matured. It is an informal name rather than an administrative one, but it describes something real: this is where the island's biggest privately-owned houses sit, and where the resale market for them has the longest history. Andara belongs to the earlier generation of estates on that hillside.
How does Kamala compare with Bang Tao?
Kamala is where the ultra-prime villa market matured; Bang Tao is where the current branded condominium supply is concentrated. Kamala now carries both generations: the older private estates on the hillside, the 454-rai MontAzure masterplan with Twinpalms Residences inside it, and the InterContinental residences announced in January 2026. Bang Tao had roughly fifty-seven active off-plan condominium projects as of August 2026. If you want a large house with a hillside outlook, Kamala; if you want new branded apartment stock and a flat walk to a beach club, Bang Tao.
